Summary of Activity:
Many populations of woodland caribou (Rangifer tarandus) in British Columbia (BC) are in decline and in some cases, are at risk of extirpation. The Southern Mountain populations are federally listed as threatened under the Species at Risk Act, and 13 of the 19 herds are known to be declining.
