We wish to fly to Eutsuk River and install one precipitation gauge (a tipping bucket) with an air temperature probe. This is part of a larger project that involves the installation of 10 tipping buckets across the upper Nechako watershed to capture the precipitation gradient from the coast mountains to the interior plateau. Eutsuk is an ideal location because we have historical waterflow records from the Water Survey of Canada. The installation at this site will require visits 1-2 times a year for data downloads and battery exchanges for the duration of 5 years.
