Proposed activity includes operating regular Adaptive Adventures programming. These are approximately 2 hour day trips involving hiking, cycling, kayaking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing utilizing specialized adaptive equipment to support people with physical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities be able to access and experience outdoor recreation in BC Parks. Other activities which CRIS offers as guided and supported programs through its program 'Accessible wilderness expeditions' for people with disabilities are: full-day and multi-day hiking and backpacking trips, kayaking and/or canoe trips, and other special events or activities like rock climbing and horseback riding.
