Big Effort Big Swim, is an Ultra swimming event fundraising for charity. The swim will take place on Christina Lake. Swimmers will start at Christina Lake Provincial Park and with a portion of swimmers making their way to Gladstone Provincial Park as part of the assigned route. Participants are prohibited from using any motorized assistance while competing. This swim focuses on inspiring and encouraging the community, to participate physically, for both physical and mental health, meanwhile also educating those who are unfamiliar with the benefits of nature, bringing the overall community a sense of well-being. Mission Statement: The ability to recognize the enormity of ones impact, with an instinct to promise. To make an impact requires big effort, the bigger the effort the bigger the impact, the bigger the swim, the bigger the impact.
