Our proposal is for a trail running event taking place on the first weekend of June 2024. Our plan for this year is to run the event on June 1, 2024. Our event is called the Be Fearless Trail Marathon, Half Marathon & 11k. Our event is a fundraiser for Canadian Mental Health Association, STEPS Program. The STEPS Youth Program, located in North Vancouver, supports young people dealing with issues such as depression and anxiety by building wellness through social and recreational activities. Our event is, looking to host, 300 participants. There are 11k, 21k and 42k running distances. All running on trails that are within the Alice Lake Provincial Park, Squamish Nation Traditional Territory and the surrounding areas of the District of Squamish. We are not proposing to build any new trails for this event. This is the 8th year of this event.
