Our proposal is for a Trail Running Event that will take place annually on the first weekend of June. This year it will be June 1, 2024, at Rolley Lake Provincial Park. Our event is called the Rolley Coaster Event, hosted by Run Like A Girl Adventure’s Inc. Our event is a fundraiser for the non-profit organization, Ridge Meadows Search and Rescue. Our event is looking to host up to 250 runners. There are four options for this running event. Runners can sign up to run for 8h, 5h, 2h or 1 lap. We are hosting an 8h event because on average that is the amount of time it takes for SAR to reach you once you have made a 911 call. Speaking with the park manager for 2024 our event has been given a 100 participant limit.
