Fish habitat assessments for the proposed Berg open pit copper mine and concentrator facility within the Tahtsa Ranges. Proposed sampling within the park includes: -Landing a helicopter near Stepp Lake and/or Stepp Creek to collect an eDNA (water sample), to confirm the absence of specific species (BB, BT, LT, and CCT) upstream of Nanika Falls. -Collection of eDNA (water sample) from Kidprice Lake (fish sampling to be authorized by Fish & Wildlife WLRS) -Sediment samples from Kidprice Lake (Nanika inflow delta and somewhere in the deeper basin) taken with an Eckman Dredge, deployed from a boat. -Sampling for fish presence/absence of left (south bank) tributaries of 'Ney' River upstream from Kidprice Lake to (including) unnamed tributary 460-600600-64400-43500-1270. The headwaters for some of these tributaries are crossed by the proposed mine access road, outside of the park, however sampling of lower reaches within the park may be required to classify the streams at the proposed crossings.
