| Geological Summary |
The commonest rocks are porphyritic andesite, locally brecciated volcaniclastics, a band of conglomerate of the Nicola Group (Triassic) and fresh hornblende porphyry dykes. Cinnabar occurs (the Hansen showing) in a band of ankeritic greenstone cut by many dolomite stringers.
