Volcanic and sedimentary rocks of the Sylvester Group (Devonian-Mississippian) form the core of a synclinorium plunging 20 degrees southeasterly. These rocks are intruded by ultramafics (Mississippian) and the Cassiar Batholith (Jurassic-Cretaceous). Gold and silver values occur in quartz veins.
