Karmutsen (Triassic) basaltic-andesitic flow rocks with intercalated ash tuffs are interbedded with Kunga (Triassic-Jurassic) limestone near a syntectonic granodiorite body. Faulting is east-north-easterly. Auriferous pyrite and arsenopyrite occur in felsic volcanic rocks.
