Geological Summary |
Sparse outcrops on the property are altered granodiorite and andesite. Regionally the claims straddle the Sandspit Fault which marks the contact between the Yakoun Formation andesite (Jurassic) and a granodiorite stock (Cretaceous) to the southwest and poorly consolidated sediments of the Skonun Formation (Upper Tertiary) to the northeast.
