Geological Summary
Located within the northwesterly trending Tyaughton Trough, sedimentary and volcanic rocks of the Taylor Creek Group (Cretaceous) are intruded by feldspar porphyry dykes, biotite feldspar diorite porphyry, granodiorite and monzonite. The rocks are severely altered, pyrite, chalcopyrite and molybdenite occur in a porphyry system with peripheral gold and silver values.
