Geological Summary
A sequence of andesite flow rocks and sedimentary rocks (Permian-Triassic) are intruded by quartz-eye porphyry and quartz monzonite of Tertiary age. These rocks are underlain by crinoidal limestone (Mississippian). The structure consists of north-easterly plunging open folds and extensive normal? faulting. Quartz-pyrite-chalcopyrite pods occur in northwesterly-trending shears.
