The claims straddle the Hozameen Fault which separates marine sedimentary rocks of the Hozameen Group (Middle to Late Paleozoic) and the continental sedimentary rocks of the Ladner Group (Early to Middle Jurassic). Auriferous replacement deposits occur within the Ladner sedimentary rocks.
