Geological Summary

The Indian River Pendant of intermediate to felsic pyroclastic rocks and sedimentary rocks is correlated with the Gambier Group (Cretaceous). Massive and stringer sulphides associated with quartz stockworks and silicified zones include local showings of chalcopyrite, sphalerite and galena with a silver and gold values.
