Geological Summary |
A tongue of volcanic and sedimentary rocks of the Chilliwack Group (Pennsylvanian-Permian) is bounded to the west by quartz diorite (Upper Cretaceous) and to the east by a belt of schist and amphibolite in a fault zone. Pyrite-pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite and minor sphalerite occur in the schist footwall rocks.
