| Geological Summary |
Andesite and basalt flow rocks are interbedded with tuffaceous sedimentary rocks, agglomerate and breccia. The structure is an anticline with its axis striking northwesterly. The volcanic rocks are intruded by quartz diorite-granodiorite. The intrusives are cut by five main quartz veins which contain specs of galena, gold and pyrite.
