Geological Summary
Volcanic and sedimentary rocks of the Nicola Group (Upper Triassic - Lower Jurassic) are intruded by diorite plugs and dykes and microgranite porphyry stocks (Jurassic - Cretaceous). These rocks are overlain by interbedded volcanic and coarse epiclastic rocks. The strata have undergone folding, block faulting, and various degrees of alteration accompanied by disseminated and fracture filling pyrite, chalcopyrite, argentiferous galena and molybdenite.
