Geological Summary |
Felsic to intermediate metavolcanic and metasedimentary rocks of the Eagle Bay Formation (Mississippian) are intruded by quartz monzonite/granodiorite of the Baldy batholith. The contact zone is well-altered. Pods and lenses of pyrrhotite and minor chalcopyrite occur in the metavolcanics, and stringers of sphalerite and galena occur in argillite.
