Geological Summary
A generalized stratigraphy of the property consists of submarine massive and pillow basalts, dark limestones, argillites and tuffs of the Karmutsen, Kunga and Yakoun Formations (Triassic to Jurassic) fine-grained carbonaceous siltstones of the Queen Charlotte Group (Upper Cretaceous), and rhyolite, gabbro, dacite porphyry and feldspar porphyry plugs and dykes of the Masset formation (Tertiary). The rocks are extensively faulted and cut by quartz veins containing minor sulphide mineralization.
