Geological Summary

The underlying rocks are schistose felsic tuffs, black argillite, limestone and andesitic tuffs altered to sericite/chlorite schists and minor sedimentary rocks of the Eagle Bay Formation. Several showings of lenticular massive pyrite, minor chalcopyrite, sphalerite and galena occur in the felsic metavolcanic rocks.
