Volcanic rocks of teh Karmutsen Formation (Upper Triassic) form a roof pendant in the Coast Plutonic Complex (Cretaceous to Tertiary). Two mineral zones in granodiorite consist of auriferous/argentiferous pyritic quartz veins which trend northeasterly.
