Gold-silver mineralization occurs in a shear zone cutting granitic rocks of the Nelson batholith (Jurassic). Lamprophyre dykes pre-date the shear zone that dips about 45 degrees to the west. Pyrite and arsenopyrite occur in quartz veins.
