Geological Summary
Sedimentary and volcanic flow rocks of the Cache Creek Group (Pennsylvanian/Permian) are highly disrupted due to movement along the Pinchi Fault and intrusion of Trembleur/Murray Ridge ultramafic stock and dykes. Carbonate alteration is cut by ankerite and quartz veins. Cinnabar is visible in some fractures which may be the expression of the outler limits of an epithermal system.
