Geological Summary
Toodoggone volcanic rocks are intruded and altered by synvolcanic granodiorite and felsite plugs and dykes. Pyrite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite and galena with some gold and silver values occur in veinlets with quartz, sericite, carbonate and anhydrite. A buried intrusion with potential for large tonnage, low grade copper-gold porphyry-type mineralization is suggested by limited diamond drilling.
