Karmutsen (Upper Triassic) andesitic and tuffaceous rocks, locally altered to greenstone, are intruded by irregular stocks of diorite. Widespread alteration consists of introduction of epidote, chlorite, k-feldspar, hematite, limonite, manganese and quartz veins.
