The property is bounded on the east and west by two major faults cutting granite and quartz monzonite phases of the Allison Lake Pluton (Lower Jurassic). Old workings expose pyritic andesitic tuff cut by calcite veinlets containing minor chalcopyrite. The volcanic rocks may be an inclusion or roof pendant of the Nicola Group (Upper Triassic).
