Geological Summary |
THE EXTENT OF OUTCROPS IS LIMITED. PHYLLITES (DEVONIAN/MISSISSIPPIAN) PREDOMINATE THE WESTERN PART OF THE PROPERTY. LIMESTONE, QUARTZITE AND PHYLLITE (MISSISSIPPIAN/PERMIAN) ARE MORE FREQUENT ON THE EASTERN PART OF THE CLAIMS. THE CENTRAL PART IS MARKED BY GABBROIC INTRUSIVES. THE ROCKS ARE TRANSECTED BY NORTHWESTERLY STRIKING THRUST FAULTS. A NORTHEAST STRIKING FAULT IS INFERRED BETWEEN MOUNT WILEY AND HARDSCRABBLE MOUNTAIN - AN AREA ANOMALOUS IN COPPER, GOLD, SILVER AND URANIUM.
