THE PROPERTY IS SITUATED IN A 30 KM WIDE NORTH- EASTERLY TRENDING FAULT BLOCK BOUNDED ON THE NORTHWEST AND SOUTHEAST BY THE ST. MARY AND MOYIE FAULTS. HELIKIAN MIDDLE TO UPPER ALDRIDGE FOR- MATION QUARTZITIC WACKE TO ARGILLITE AND CRESTON FORMATION ARGILLITE AND WACKE FORM PART OF THE WEST LIMB OF THE PURCELL ANTICLINORIUM. THREE GENERATIONS OF QUARTZ VEINS ARE EVIDENT ALONG FAULT ZONES. LARGE-SCALE FOLDING IS EVIDENT AS ARE SMALL FOLDS WITHIN THE FAULT ZONES.
