Geological Summary
The claims are underlain by a sequence of interbedded volcanics, volcaniclastics and sedimentary rocks of the Nicola Group (Late Triassic). Volcanic rocks range from basalt to rhyolite and from flows to pyroclastic breccias. Extensive clay or argillic alteration is present on either side of quartz-chalcedony sheeted vein system which is an extension of the Enterprise Mine to the south. Intermittent quartz-carbonate veining occurs with brecciation, fracturing, silicification and pyritization in andesites and basalts; they contain local weak gold and silver mineralization.
