ROCK TYPES INCLUDE MONZONITE, PORPHYRITIC HORN- BLENDE/AUGITE ANDESITE, MICRODIORITE AND MINOR INTRUSIVE BRECCIAS. PYRITE, CHALCOPYRITE WITH MALACHITE AND LESSER AZURITE. MINERALIZATION OCCURS AS DISSEMINATIONS AND VEINS IN HIGHLY FRACTURED AND ALTERED CHERRY CREEK ROCKS AND INTRUSIVE BRECCIAS.
