THE CLAIMS ARE UNDERLAIN BY (PRE-UPPER TRIASSIC) PHYLLITE LIMESTONE, DOLOMITE AND INTERCALATED VOLCANIC ROCKS, PRIMARILY GREENSTONE AND VOLCANIC FELDSPAR PORPHYRY. TETRAHEDRITE, MALACHITE, AZURITE AND PYRITE OCCUR AS VEINS WITHIN QUARTZ- CHALCEDONY VEINS AND IN FRACTURES WITHIN FELSIC PHYLLITE. MINERALIZATION IS ASSOCIATED WITH PERVASIVE SILICIFICATION.
