Geological Summary
North of the claims, bluff outcrops are Kamloops Group basalts, andesites and agglomerates. To the east and along Doherty Creek sparse outcrops consist of Nicola volcanic-sedimentary rocks, and Iron Mast dioritic intrusive rocks. To the west of Doherty Creek, the predominant rocks are Kingsvale (?) volcanics and intrusive diorites, which carry significant copper mineralization, especially near the Old Maxine workings.
