INTERCALATED ANDESITIC AND BASALTIC FLOW ROCKS OF THE KASLO GROUP EXHIBIT VARIOUS DEGREES OF SERPENTINIZATION AND CONTAIN DISSEMINATED PYRITE AND MAGNETITE. THESE ROCKS ARE IN FAULT CONTACT WITH CARBONACEOUS ARGILLITES, SLATES AND PHYLLITES OF THE SLOCAN GROUP. THE SLOCAN ROCKS ARE INTRUDED BY RHYOLITE/GRANITE SILLS AND DYKES. A SILICIFIED ZONE IS DEVELOPED NEAR THIS CONTACT AND CONTAINS MINOR PYRITE AND GALENA WITH GOLD VALUES.
