BANDED ARGILLITE, ARGILLACEOUS LIMESTONE, LIME- STONE, DOLOMITE AND SCHISTS (CAMBRIAN) ARE CUT BY QUARTZ VEINS. THE BEDDING IS NEARLY VERTICAL AND STRIKES NORTHWESTERLY. DISSEMINATIONS AND LENSES OF TETRAHEDRITE, GALENA, CHALCOPYRITE AND SCHEELITE OCCUR WITHIN THE VEINS. GOLD AND SILVER ARE ASSOCIATED WITH THE SULPHIDES.
