BEDROCK CONSISTS OF THE CACHE CREEK (PERMIAN) METASEDIMENTS AND ANDESITES WHICH ARE INTRUDED BY A STOCK-LIKE FAULTED GABBRO-DIORITE. FAULTING IN THE INTRUSIVE IS CAUSED BY THRUSTING FROM THE SOUTHWEST. QUARTZ VEINS CARRY FREE GOLD AND SULPHIDE MINERALIZATION.
