Geological Summary |
HAZELTON (JURASSIC) BLACK ARGILLITE WITH THIN BED- DING IS OCCASIONALLY FOUND WITH GRADED BEDDING, FROM SILT SIZE TO MEDIUM GRAINED GREYWACKES. ONE MAJOR FAULT IS VISIBLE. INTRUSIONS OF GRANITE DYKES ARE PRESENT. MINOR PYRITE MINERALIZATION IS CONTAINED IN THE ARGILLITE, AND ONE LENSOIDAL QUARTZ VEIN CONTAINED PYRITE AND MINOR CHALCOPY- RITE.
