SANDSTONES DIPPING TO THE NORTHWEST ARE HIGHLY FRACTURED AND CUT BY SHEAR ZONES. NO MINERALIZA- TION IS EVIDENT IN THE ROCK, BUT RUSTY PATCHES WERE COMMON. DIORITE IS IN CONTACT WITH THE SAND- STONES BUT IS EMPLACED BY FAULT MOVEMENT. QUARTZ VEINS RUN THROUGH THE CONTACT.
