MASSIVE GREY LIMESTONE OF THE MARBLE CANYON FORMATION, AND CHERT AND ARGILLITE OF THE CACHE CREEK GROUP (PERMIAN) ARE OVERLAIN BY OR IN FAULT CONTACT WITH KINGSVALE(?) ANDESITIC TO RHYOLITIC CRETACEOUS ROCKS. TWO LARGE ALTERATION ZONES CONSIST OF CLAY WITH LOCAL SILICA FLOODING AND WISPY PYRITE-QUARTZ VEINS. SILVER, ARSENIC, LEAD AND GOLD GEOCHEMICAL ANOMALIES OCCUR IN THE ALTERATION ZONE.
