THE PROPERTY IS UNDERLAIN BY FOLDED AND FAULTED DOLOMITE OF THE (CAMBRIAN) JUBILEE FORMATION, (CAMBRO-ORDOVICIAN) MCKAY FORMATION LIMESTONE AND SHALE, AND THE (ORDOVICIAN) BEAVERFOOT FORMATION DOLOMITE. THESE ARE INTRUDED BY DYKES, PLUGS AND IRREGULAR STOCKS OF MONZONITE AND SYENITE. HOT SPRINGS AND SINTER DEPOSITS ARE ASSOCIATED WITH A MAJOR NORTH-SOUTH FAULT. MINOR COPPER MINERAL- IZATION IS ASSOCIATED WITH INTRUSIONS.
