Geological Summary
Northwest trending, intercalated volcanic and volcaniclastic rocks of the 'Toodoggone volcanics' (Lower to Middle Jurassic) are intruded by northwest trending granodiorite (Middle Jurassic age). Marble and siltstone of the Asitka Group (Permian age) form three roof pendants within the granodiorite. Gold values occur in siliceous zones and quartz breccia zones up to 3.4 grams per tonne gold, 288 grams per tonne silver and 1.7 per cent copper occur in skarn.
