Geological Summary |
The claim area is underlain by northwest striking metasedimentary rocks and crystalline limestone which are intruded by younger igneous rocks of intermediate composition. All known mineral showings in the area appear to be structurally controlled, with numerous faults and fractures identified. Fractured quartz monzonite contains small swarms of quartz veins which are very locally mineralized with auriferous galena, sphalerite, chalcopyrite, pyrite and bornite.
