Geological Summary
Drilling intersected fine-grained, maroon felsic crystal tuffs that are variously altered to sericite carbonate and minor clay. Very small amounts of pyrite mineralization occur in some of the drill holes but other than this no sulphide mineralization was observed. The lead-zinc-silver soil anomaly, which was the target area for the drilling, is now believed to be the result of glacially transported overburden.
