Geological Summary
Augite porphyry, andesite and related volcanic rocks of the Rossland Group are intruded by various phases of the Nelson batholith. Up to one metre wide quartz veins carrying pyrite, gold and silver values, minor galena and sphalerite occupy shear zones cutting both the volcanics and granodiorite.
