QUARTZ DIORITE AND GRANODIORITE OF THE (TERTIARY) MOUNT BARR PLUTONIC COMPLEX INTRUDE THE VOLCANICS AND SEDIMENTS. SOUTHERLY TRENDING QUARTZ VEINS CONTAIN CHALCOPY- RITE AND PYRRHOTITE. ELEVATED GOLD AND COPPER VALUES IN SILT AND ROCK GEOCHEMICAL SAMPLES WERE DETECTED.
