THE CLAIMS ARE UNDERLAIN BY RED, PURPLE AND GREEN PORPHYRITIC ANDESITE FLOWS OF THE JURASSIC AGE HAZELTON GROUP. MINERALIZATION CONSISTING OF GALENA, TETRAHEDRITE, CHALCOPYRITE, SPHALERITE AND PYRITE OCCURS IN A QUARTZ-CARBONATE GANGUE. SULPHIDES OCCUR IN A VEIN SYSTEM MARKED BY A SIGNIFICANT ALTERATION ZONE.
