THE PROPERTY IS UNDERLAIN BY A NORTH TO NORTHWEST- ERLY TRENDING SEQUENCE OF LIMESTONE, SHALE AND SILICEOUS ARGILLITE OF THE (UPPER TRIASSIC) NICOLA FORMATION AND BASALT OF THE (DEVONIAN TO PERMIAN) FENNELL FORMATION. THE MAJOR, NORTHERLY TRENDING, STRIKE-SLIP(?) LOUIS CREEK FAULT JUXTAPOSES THESE UNITS. MINOR FELSIC DYKES CUT THE ROCKS. A GOLD- ARSENIC SOIL ANOMALY WAS OUTLINED FROM GEOCHEMICAL SAMPLING AND IS ASSOCIATED WITH EASTERLY TRENDING, PYRITIC, QUARTZ AND CALCITE-FILLED FRACTURES IN ALTERED FELSIC DYKES IN THE LOUIS CREEK FAULT ZONE.
