THE CLAIMS ARE UNDERLAIN PRIMARILY BY (UPPER TRI- ASSIC) TAKLA GROUP ROCKS CONSISTING OF GREENSCHIST METAMORPHOSED ANDESITIC TO BASALTIC VOLCANICLASTIC ROCKS INTERLAYERED WITH AUGITE PORPHYRY AND AUGITE FELDSPAR PORPHYRY FLOWS. THE SEQUENCE IS INTRUDED BY NORTHEASTERLY TRENDING APLITE AND PORPHYRITIC DYKES. HOGEM BATHOLITH GRANITIC AND MONZ0DIORITIC INTRUSIONS ARE LOCATED IN THE SOUTHWESTERN PART OF THE PROPERTY. PYRITIC AND POTASSIC ALTERATION AND QUARTZ-CARBONATE VEINS ARE ASSOCIATED WITH FAULTS AND SHEARS. SEVERAL ZONES OF ELEVATED GOLD VALUES WERE DETECTED FROM ROCK CHIP SAMPLING.
