Geological Summary
THE CLAIMS ARE UNDERLAIN BY (MIDDLE PALEOZOIC) EAGLE BAY FORMATION QUARTZITE, PHYLLITE, QUARTZ- MICA SCHIST AND INTERMEDIATE TUFF. MASSIVE BASALT OF THE FENNEL FORMATION UNDERLIES THE WESTERN PART OF THE PROPERTY. THE SEQUENCE IS PART OF AN ANTI- FORM, PLUNGING TO THE NORTHWEST. MINERALIZATION CONSISTS OF PYRITE IN QUARTZ-MICA SCHIST AND MINOR PYRRHOTITE IN PHYLLITE. TWO MAGNETIC AND CONDUC- TIVE ZONES, ONE WITH A COINCIDENT LEAD AND ZINC SOIL ANOMALY WERE OUTLINED.
