ACCORDING TO LITTLE(1961), THE CLAIM AREA IS UNDERLAIN PRIMARILY BY CHERT, GREENSTONE AND MINOR TUFF OF THE (TRIASSIC) SHOEMAKER AND OLD TOM FORMATIONS. THE UNITS TREND NORTHEASTERLY AND DIP MODERATELY TO STEEPLY TO THE SOUTHEAST. A FAULT ZONE IS PRESENT ALONG WEST TO NORTHWESTERLY TRENDING SOUTH KEREMEOS CREEK. A NUMBER OF EASTERLY TRENDING - CONDUCTIVE ZONES WERE OUTLINED IN THE WESTERN PART OF THE PROPERTY FROM THE SURVEY.
